LAUNCH

Cleanser, serum, moisturizer

01 · CONTEXT

A three-step routine for men who don't want a routine.

SERA launches with a cleanser, a serum, and a moisturizer: short ingredient lists, high-performance formulas, no gimmicks. The customer is 28 to 45, cares how he looks, and has little patience for products that make a production of it.

02 · THE OPPORTUNITY

Men's skincare usually picks one of two costumes.

Most of the category looks either like a locker room (black bottles, hard edges, performance claims shouted at you) or like a pharmacy (white, clinical, cautious). Neither matches how this customer actually lives. There was room for a brand that feels like well-made clothing: considered, tactile, and confident without announcing it.

03 · THE IDEA

Less, done well.

The campaign frames the routine as the ten quiet minutes a man takes before the day asks anything of him. It isn't about transformation or dominance. It's about preparation: the private discipline behind a public ease. Every image lives in that moment before the door opens.

04 · THE CREATIVE DIRECTION

Stillness, texture, and early light.

Palette

Charcoal, clay, bone, and the warm browns of skin. No pure black, no pure white.

Light

Early-morning window light, low and directional. Shadows are allowed to stay dark.

Materials

Stone, water, linen, brushed metal. Surfaces you'd want to touch.

Skin

Real texture, pores, and stubble. Minimal retouching.

Styling

Knitwear, open collars, a watch left on the counter. Dressed for the day, not for a shoot.

Casting

Men 28 to 45 across a range of backgrounds, chosen for presence rather than physique.

Composition

Tight crops and generous negative space. One subject per frame.

Product

Bottles photographed as objects on stone and water, never floating on a gradient.

05 · PROCESS

From references to a visual language.

The direction started with references from menswear, architecture, and still-life photography, then narrowed to a tight set of rules for light, material, and crop that any photographer or designer could follow.

Ten quiet minutes before the day asks anything of you.

07 · APPLICATION

One system, every touchpoint.

08 · SUMMARY

A campaign that sells a skincare line by selling a moment every man already has: the minutes before the day starts.
